Please advise on front door and shutter colors for our plum grey house

We had our 1941 Garrison Colonial painted Sherwin Williams "Exclusive Plum," but now don't know what color to paint the front door or what color shutters to put up. The paint color turned out to be a little more plum and a little less grey than we had hoped, so we're hoping to do something a little less daring with these choices. The front door is currently black and we will be installing a new Anderson full-view storm door in white with oil rubbed bronze hardware.

It's a great color. I think I would consider painting the window frames as well. Chartreuse with some grey in it, a pinkish rust, or a dark grey?

A. Off white for the shutters and if you want some fun chartreuse for the door. You could also use a pale gray everywhere for a more subdued look.
