Flat screen TV's can be hidden behind picture frames, built around like this photo, or lift out of cabinetry or furniture as seen on this web site you can order the mechanism from. All very cool.

If you are willing to give up a little definition (better for bathrooms) you can put the flat screen behind a framed two way mirror and when the TV is off it's a mirror and when it's lit and on - watch away.
