Dark grey purple paint

Greens and blues look insipid and institutional in my bath with no light except artificial. So might as well go dramatic. Black counter, carrera floor, dark grey cabinets and white sinks and tub. How about a deep smoky/grey/plum?? Ideas?

I did my powder room with no window in a very dark grayish purple and love it! Will find a photo and look up color and post later today.

I like Valspar's Raisin and Gypsy Rouge. Both are considered Neutral Violet and are darker than elklaker's suggest of Crushed Grape, which is indead, YUM!

alright here you go. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. it is dark and dramatic. my light fixture probably needs to be a bit brighter to light up the room but see what you think. it is Benjamin Moore #1434 in the twilight. i have before and after… let me know what you think!

I have a BM outlet in my town so will get right down there. Of course the colour is not coming across well on my computer (Moody blue) but I thank you and will go get a chip. Love you powder room and now know I am on the right track.

happy to help! and yes the color in my photos looks like 3 different colors on the computer. i can only say that it makes me SO happy when i go in that powder room every day. it is dramatic and hey, you are only in a powder room for a short period of time, right? so it feels cozy. good luck with your project!!! it is amazing what a difference paint can make. i put one or two other awful colors up before i found this one, so do the same!!!!!

You could paint the walls with a high gloss sheen to add interest. Take a look at our glacé project to see what it looks like

I painted this color in a guest room, and when the light hits it you see more purple, and with less light gray. I love it.

This may give you a better idea of what it looks like on a wall. It may be too light for what you are lolling for.

Think that is in the running. I am tending toward dark. Do you have the name of this paint?

If you look at the mirror picture I posted above. You can see the darker gray that stands out with less sunlight.
