HI Duke, What kind of tile did you decide on for your laundry room? Any update?

Ah, we just went through this because of a remodel. Lots of teens in our house and laundry is also a half bath which they all use on first floor, 10x11 feet. We debated very large format (24x24 tiles) which look awesome but wound up going 12x24 instead - less grout to deal with, makes room feel larger, did a light color with distressed darkness like a travertine style but in porcelain. Small tiles in laundry rooms are a mistake, I think, as are patterns - you're trying to offer some uniformity to draw away from just seeing a washer and dryer...

I agree with larger sized tiles, also consider the texture of the tile surface as you want some grip to it since the laundry is considered a 'wet' area of a house.
