Select accent wall color?
December 1, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Before image (realtor photo) attached. After images show my touches. Color scheme is rust / orange / terracotta, with touches of apple green and magenta (on top of neutrals). Lots of texture. Looks better in person. Fighting the beige! Considering warm plum or terracotta wall (with the windows and door to porch). I would paint the sofa wall, but it runs, unstopped, to the upper loft and around to the bedroom. I also plan to remove the existing window treatment and perhaps add gauzy linen panels. Thanks for your ideas!

Blue works well with brown/beige.
