Faux top cabinets?

Are the cabinets on the top row faux, maybe being used as a soffit to hide ductwork?

    Thank you for your inquiry! These cabinets are all real. This kitchen has very high ceilings so we were able to add another small bank of cabinets. This is great way to maximize your storage.
