Need help warming up main floor

Hi, We live in a small semi in Toronto. the interiors were painted a darker beige, which made it look very small, so last year, we had the space painted white. This year, we redid our kitchen and put in white cabinets and also opened it up to the dining room. My wife now finds the space too "white" and "cold".

Any thoughts on warming it up? I am happy to do accent colours either via painting the fireplace wall or adding some pops of colour.

Try experimenting with a 'warmer' wall color again depending on other materials used in the kitchen.

Hello,

Try some pillows on the couch and go with a colorful kilim rug, white is just great color to work with! It will take a lot of time, effort and money to re-paint your walls. Check out my online store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TurkishCraftsArts (I will give you a kilim pillow for free on your purchase)
