Unfortunately we can't help you with the countertop but the backsplash is a marble known as the sino carrera. It is cut into irregular shaped rectangles and is absolutely beautiful in backsplash applications.

Love the carrera/irregluar rectangles. Are you also able to share what was used for the horizontal brown/gray 'stripe' that goes around the entire kitchen/backsplash? The whole thing is just gorgeous.

Thanks for your generous comments. We feel the kitchen is gorgeous too. The border is made up of a limestone known as the azul valverde. It is actually stacked rectangles that are approx. 1x3 in size.

Do you still sell the irregular shaped Sino carrara? I checked the website however, I could not find it.
