mixing finishes
bdgracyDecember 16, 2013
We are redoing our kitchen. Our kitchen opens up to our family room. We have brass lamps in our family room and brass ceiling lights in our hallway leading to the laundry room. However, I would like to use brushed stainless faucets and brushed nickel or bronze for the pendants and door pulls. Would it look right to keep my brass lamps and ceiling lights or do I need to change them also?

Mixing metals is perfectly fine, especially since you said you really want fixtures made with certain finishes. Remember: it is your kitchen, so decorate for you, not for anyone else.
