Things have not gone exactly as planned while building our new place and the space I had planned to put the entry lighting fixture is occupied by a rafter beam so we cannot put the fixture in that exact spot. I was thinking of putting it in the center of the tled area instead, but I am not sure it would work in real life. Here is a sketch of the space. The tiled entry area is approx. 12'3" x 6'3". Only way to get it center in front of the door is to swag it :(
I was planning on an antique chandelier (hardwired) with edison bulbs; but I can change that plan. I need to decide right away so they can finish up with wiring!
Oh there is an opening that you can't see on the right wall. It is just in front of the closet and is 4' wide. You can barely see where it is supposed to be.
