Here was my dilemma! My living room and dinning room windows have wonderful stained glass and a nice view that i dont really want to cover completely with heavy window treatments. Yet, there is too much sun in the room during entire day and that will destroy/discolor the wood floor and the furniture. Privacy is not the issue, as the backyard is completely private. The windows are of a different size, if i choose, lets day, Silhouette/Nantucket, the shades have to be mounted on top of the windows. Should i go with "solid" fabric - book pleated semi shears? Would appreciate help with these:)
