Hello friends! I currently purchased this home in portland and don't know where to go with it. What I mean by this is my current home is very mid-century modern as I reside in the desert. I'm very artsy and have lots of color and texture to my current home. Not sure if I should keep the mid century feel in a craftman new build or tone it down. Also I will be redoing the fire place and kitchen
So backsplash, granite, fireplace suggest would be great. Thanks for the help!

Are you keeping the cabinets as they are now? Or paint, replace?
Either way a offwhite to sandy grey concrete/silestone/quartz countertop with a simple glass backsplash would be lovely.

Lots of potential and great bones for this house. Changing the color of the front door would provide a stronger focal point viewed from the street.

I agree. I was thinking of changing the door as well.

I hate to sound creepy, but you may not want your front door to draw attention. I don't know if you live alone, have a partner who's a police officer, or train German shepherds. But if you live alone, you may not want a front door that gets noticed.
