What should I put behind my mirrored console table

Hi not sure what to do. Have a new mirrored console table, options included a oversized mirror that starts just below the console, or higher up rectangular , not sure how long to have it.
Another problem is right opposite the mirror is the front door and to the left the stairs. Ie nothing intresting to reflect and no wall space to put any art.

Should I put art up instead of a mirror?

House has glass doors and beige polished floor tiles

Please help, table is 1400mm wide

I like wallpaper but would go a darker background like black. For more contrast. Then add a 24" sunburst mirror. Hang 7" above top of console.

The large mirror looks great against the console you have.

The room needs some color to attract the eye. A nice piece of art work or photo would brighten up the area.

Any ideas on artwork? Do you mean instead of the mirror? no spare wall for artwork unless i dont have the mirror. also finding it hard to find artwork that will match the wallpaper. i still have a week to cancel the order for the wallpaper mind you but at a loss at suggestions

Something under and something on top and something behind, but not a mirror unless it is very interesting and doubles something worth seeing twice.

If you use a mirror, I recommend round not rectangular and one that is decorative on its own so as not just reflect something uninteresting. See photo.

Try turning the mirror the other way.

Love to see some stools under.

Artwork is good - vertical alignment is best and only 75% of the tables' width. Those would be great colors to carry throughout the area and even adjoining rooms.
