You have a lovely home. How about just painting the front door a color that will pop?

I do think your shutters should be sized right and at least functional looking if not truly operational. Here is info on how to size shutters right. In fact, your home might look better without shutters. You have nice trim features that already accent your home

House looks great! You could put a little color into the shutters and the front door but be careful. your home looks great now you could screw it up with too much color!
