Need help selecting a bookshelf wall

We are transitioning a bedroom into an office/den for my father. He has a large book collection and we are looking for bookshelves that we can combine, sit flush against the wall, and have some sort of cover so that the books don't get dusty? Basically, anything but cabinets.
