Upper Cabinet width--new kitchen design

I am designing a modern/contemporary kitchen. I am stuck between windows and a chimney vent fan. That said I have three stand alone upper cabinets at 22" widths. They will be overlay slab cabinets. I am wondering whether or not to have each upper cabinet be two doors at 11" each or one big door at 22" Will 11" look okay?

22" single door is a bit large for practical use.

I agree that 22" seems to large in that it will protrude out too far. Do you think 11" doors will look to narrow? What is the largest and smallest width door you would use for an upper cabinet?

Any comments are appreciated.
