Mirror?

Would this mirror look right above this table going into my foyer? Or would this go better somewhere else?

That's a gorgeous mirror!!! It would look amazing just about anywhere, so I do believe would look quite nice in the table, but maybe keep just the lamp and the picture perhaps so it doesn't look too over done!!!

Should I put anything on the bottom of the table? And take the plant off?

Right now it looks like the mirror is the same size as the mirror that is why it needs to go up to see what it will look like.

I think a fabric runner over the top and down the sides would help. Instead of a collection of miscellaneous things, consider honoring the symmetry and adding things that will bring weight to the table. A stack of brightly colored books below and a tall vase or pair of substantial candlesticks on the top.

The mirror is great. I do not care for the lamp with it or the photo. What else do you have to put there? Maybe the photo on the bottom shelf sitting on top of a couple of flat books?

I think the mirror is too pretty for the small table but it could work. I agree that the lamp and picture is not helping.

The mirror is awesome! The unique shape goes very well with the simplicity of the table.

Well, what have you got? Maybe a nice decorative bowl? A pillar candle? Something unique to your personality?

Could this mirror work in a little bathroom?

Or a different table to make this mirror work? Either one. A different table, this table, or move this Murrow to small guest bathroom?

agree with the last post -- maybe a wider table would work better with the mirror. I love that mirror though.

I suggest something that will bring in more contrast -- either darker or lighter than your current table. You could try a simple parson's table if you're not sure of your preferred style, it goes with everything.

bummer ... the table is too low. A higher table ... can you show the rest of the space so we can make table suggestions.

Margo: can you get that whistling music going again?

or you could lean the mirror against the wall and have the table serve as a small bar?

Whew-so glad that you are looking into a new table that one was not doing any justice to your nice mirror.
