particle board with vineer cabinets
blackmountainranchJanuary 4, 2014
I have particle board cabinets with veneer skins. They are in great shape and really can't afford to change them out. I want to make them more rustic then contemporary. Any suggestions?

To make them more rustic I would convert them to shaker style by getting thin wood trim. 2" X 1/4" thick. Nail and glue it around the edge of all the doors and drawers. Then paint the cabinets. I'm thinking cream but blue would be nice too

That's a splendid idea! I was thinking cream or red. The rest of my house is in a southwestern theme.
