Perhaps a more gray-ish tone on the lighter side.

I love the white washed porcelain wood look tile. Great contrast for the dark cabinets and granite top.

Dark cherry cabinets are generally a more formal look. Try to match that in a tile. Maybe a white calcutta marble look-alike in porcelain.

That is a lot of dark in a kitchen. The floors will look "odd" if you go too light. You will want a mid-tone "red" that works with your cabinets. A lighter floor is possible if you had a lighter counter top or lighter cabinets. It is doable...but takes a very strong design(ers) hand to pull it off. Most people can not make it "work".

Look to your lighting and your back splash to "lighten things up"...the floors will take you half way...the backsplash will take you the rest of the way.

My last kitchen was cherry with black granite worktops and limestone floors. It worked well
