I am trying to work with what I have but I don't have to keep this table. I moved it from my foyer.

The room looks fine in the photo, not sure which table is being referred to.

It's too delicate and "leggy" to go with the large-scale mantel and brick fireplace. Wrong scale for that spot. And it won't support large-scaled accessories either. Painting it a different color wouldn't help the scale.

Having nothing in that spot would work, or art on a larger scale and heavier feel than the pale lightly scaled one you have.

Should I remove the table and put a large floor plant there?

The dark table under the picture to the right of the fireplace.

Agree, the table is too"leggy." Could try putting something under the table, decorative boxes, or a plant.

A large plant in a heavy pot would work .. or a large piece of art with a thick frame.
