Where can I find this rug?
January 12, 2014 in Design Dilemma
I'm decorating our baby girl's nursery right now and I love the white and grey rug in this picture I found on Pinterest, but have not been able to figure out where I can purchase it. Does anyone have any ideas? I know it's not West Elm, I asked them today.
Thank you!

This style of rug is considered a "faux bois rug" aka a pattern that mimics the grain of wood. I found a similar if not exact one here: http://www.housebeautiful.com/shopping/products/grey-wood-design-rug#slide-5 (it seems highly overpriced) BUT it looks like the Martha Stewart collection has similar rugs for a better bargain. Hope this helps!

Better yet..why not buy a solid canvas rug, stencil in the pattern and paint. There are DIY's on Pinterest all the time for painted rugs. I would not spend 1,000+ for a nursery rug. That's just my opinion though. Good luck! :)
