The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn This looks like stainless steel. Basically a frame would need to be built around the washer & dryer by using end panels to support the countertop. Keep in mind the top will be higher than a typical countertop.

Media Decor The washer/dryer top is stainless. Some high end washer dryer mfrs off these as an option, but since there is no 'backsplash' (to prevent stuff from falling behind it, I suspect it is either:

1. custom made by kitchen fabricator out of stainless
2. custom made from MDF and covered with stainless formica (much less expensive)
