Cabinets are Madrone and Sedna granite counter top.

A glass tile that blends with the cabinet ...subway tile or even a 4x4 off set (like brick) would look great. You have so much movement and color in the granite, which is great. Let that remain as the statement and keep the color continuous from cabinet to splash.

white, taupe or deep red pieces of oversized glass tile set in basketweave or running bond pattern. If you want to use more than one color, add a slightly darker band where tile meets the counter.

Do you need backsplash tile? Not every kitchen does. Sometimes just painting is the right choice.

Or, because your kitchen appears to have a country look, check out the wall covering that looks like tin ceiling tiles of old. Benjamin Moore carries in their stores and I am sure Home Depot has as well.

I think a light green glass subway tile backsplash would be beautiful. Just make sure the green complements the cabinets and a green from the counter. Something like this backsplash..

I like very much the oversized glass tiles Vida Floral Design suggested. I would probably pick another color but the texture, the size and the way they are laid is very nice.

VFD, where can I find these tiles?

You have a lovely kitchen that has a hint of rustic, so I was drawn to the idea of doing rocks or pebbles for your back splash. This would also aid you in selecting the ideal color combination to compliment your counter tops.

Another concept for your back splash is traditional ceramic tiles in the rich tones of your counter top. This would create an ambiance in your kitchen that feels very earthy and warm.
