Will you be able to hide all the wires? Large (3' or so) sculpture/vase on the floor to the right of the t.v.

I agree with anapants about painting the wall. Pick a shade of dark grey that works with your bedding- it will help to camouflage all those cords if you're unable to hide them. I'd put a tall metallic sculpture or vase with tall reeds or curly willow on the cabinet to the left of the tv- and artwork on the wall to the right with an interesting floor lamp in the corner.

I agree with using a few products to manage your cords first. Once you see the wall without the visual interruption of all the cords you may like it better. Too much around the TV is distracting so keep it simple. Here is an inspiration pic that might help with one design style:

Here is a view that is a little closer of the master bedrm tv area
Adelson 2

Lastly, here in the same home is a view of the master suite TV area
Adelson 3

In this inspiration pic, they may have used a thin false wall to hide all the cords. But there are all kinds of cord management products today. Do a search here on Houzz for some ideas

How about this colour (backdrop) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/234750199300759685/
I don't know what the rest of the room looks like but full length drapes would add warmth to the room and fill in that empty corner.

I wouldn't paint the wall; I'd paint the whole room. It's just too white for me. That said, hide the wires, move the TV off center, add a single sculpture. Keep it simple.

Your first priority should be hiding the wires. After that, I would keep the TV on center, but wall mount it to keep with the floating theme. Having it directly on the "floating" entertainment center is grounding it and counterproductive to the design intent. As for what to place on the entertainment center once the TV is removed, keep it simple. The entertainment center has a minimalist appeal, so the accessories should continue that theme.

I would like a gray paint in the entire room. It looks on my screen like your bedding is gray and white. I really like it. I won't suggest hiding the wires as it sounds like you've got that one. I would find a piece of reclaimed lumber the width of your cabinets. Adding to the top would make it look as though the two are one. Agree with moving off-center and adding a tall sculptural piece to the other half. There appears to be stuff in the spaces on the left of your cabinet. I would remove those items and replace with books. Take the books and wrap them in bakers paper or white wrapping paper and lay them on the shelf spine to the front.

nguyenhuong85, sorry, I don't know where I found the sculpture. I google images and if I like them, I steal them. Don't tell anyone.
