Transforming the exterior and windows of an addition to fit the house
January 20, 2014 in Design Dilemma
So the property is a granite building on which they did this sunroom wood frame addition (the yellow room). The addition doesn't look right and we are changing the windows and eliminating some for energy and in consideration that the room is like a fishbowl now. The only limitation is I still want windows on the side for the view. I want to make it fit with the building. I am open to suggestions on color for the addition, knowing that the top of the house will stay yellow but I really just can't figure out what to do with the WINDOWS that would tie the addition in better. Its apartments so we will redo the interior on this room too.
