Is this furniture comparable to the Canadel furniture line?

This is not comparable to Canadel in quality. The Coastal living product is maple solids and veneers with poplar wherever it is painted. Canadel is solid birch throughout. I am guessing it is an import item vs. Canadel which is made in Canada.
