We designed the "ironing board" insert so it is removable. it is a sperate box, so when you pull the whole thing out, the side gable of the cabinet, and that whole piece pulls out. this makes it easier to access the hook-ups from the side of the unit.

I love the idea! I plan to use it in my redesigned laundry room!

What needs to be done in order to stack front loading washer and dryers. They would need to be balanced and secure.
