How do I get this pendant light to hang level?
February 3, 2014 in Design Dilemma
This light was installed by an electrician before we moved into our new home so I'm not sure what goes into this. The fixture is from West Elm. I love the look of it in general, but it's driving me nuts that the pendant is slightly not level, tilting down toward the fridge and up toward the sink (see pic).

How do you get a pendant light fixture to hang level straight? Thank you!

I doubt this has anything to do with the electrician. Since it's a single line pendant, the problem is probably somewhere in the housing immediately above the glass. Something's crooked there. See if you can remove the glass (are there screws holding it to the housing?), then see what's up.

From the photog it looks like the hole in the top is off center. In which case send it back.

By looking at the picture it seems that the pendent is not centre with the hanger, try moving it, it maybe that simple. :)
