Can you tell me about how wide this walkway is? I am installing a similar walkway to a small cottage and think 3 feet wide is excessive?

This walkway is 3'-4' wide and varies from stone to stone. I personally like a wider path for main entrances...think of how two people walking side by side would experience the path. In the end it is all personal preference. Good luck with your project.

Thanks Robert, I have such a small yard I hate to eat up all the space with walkway. Love your walkway though....

I love the walkway, what kind of stone is used here and about what size on the stone? Thanks!

The stone is called Pennsylvania Fieldstone and it is irregular at around 3' x 4' per stone with 4" - 6" gaps for the lawn to grow through. Good luck with your project!

Hi Robert, that is 18 feet diameter. I usually don't make them so large, but the walking path through it and the placement with the beds and yard made it feel right in this location. Good luck with your project! Robert

I am using the concept on a property in the front as well but closer to the street. Do you think 9' diameter would work for two chairs like you have? Client likes the size I have but just want to make sure it would work. Thanks Robert for the response!

Its a corner property trying to get use out of front "public" space to make it more usable and "private". Great design BTW! Love it!
