WWYD- Laminate over tile, keep tile, change tile

Hello houzzers, trying to get my feelers out for ideas on how to make this project work with a semi-diy limited budget. The kitchen was remodeled but the rest of the house was not. I would like to knock down the walls separating the kitchen/dining area to the formal dining room (we put up a wall/door to turn it into an office years back). There are two types of laminate in the house- the one in the kitchen and the one in the entry living room both are on the concrete slab with underlayment.

Concerns
1. cost- we don't really want to remove all the tile (as we did in the kitchen to install the laminate)

Pros
1. tile is level and in good condition

Options
1. laminate entire house with the laminate in the kitchen (st james mahogany from lumber liquidator)
2. laminate entire house with the laminate with the entry living room (ikea)
3. remove laminate in kitchen, install tile in kitchen and then laminate entire house something else.
4. any suggestions you might have :)

If you are on a limited budget I would get out the calculator and figure out the cost of each. I like the new tile in the kitchen but that is just my personal opinion.

Ask yourselves which floor do you like the best, and which do you like the least. How much money is a limited budget in relation to the cost of doing each project? Do you have the tools and equipment to do each job, and if not, how much will it cost to buy or rent them?

I think it would be easier to lay laminate on a level tile floor than it would be to pull up laminate and lay tile. We just finished tiling our kiitchen, dining room and several related closets and areas that all run together, and I can tell you that it isn't as easy and fast as it looks if you want it to be straight and level.

I think your floors look great the way they are. If you need to make a change perhaps pick one laminate (ie replace front foyer laminate with kitchen or whichever you prefer). And then I'd say spend your money on something else (ie new light fixtures, stools etc)

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. It's going to be about 900 sq feet and want to spend less than $3/ft for new flooring. I'm leaning towards taking the laminate in the entry living room and bringing across the entire house ( putting laminate on top of laminate in the kitchen and laminate on top of tile).

Had a reality check at Home Depot over the weekend on how much work it is to lay tile cut tile :)
