my backsplash

i had a tremendously hard time picking my backsplash due to the color and style of my cabinets. i wanted to bring the tuscan look into a more transitional look rather than traditional. i went with the linear glass and onyx and now i am freaking out. Im afraid its too busy! Am i just not used to it after having a plain wall for 5 years?

Live with this for a while. The backsplash looks great against the lighting.

I think it looks great!!! The colors work beautifully with the cabinetry and it really pops and looks special without looking too busy.

I don't think it's too busy...I really like this design. You could definitely keep that hardware as well, I think it balances nicely with the backsplash.

Looks great but If you think it's too busy maybe try just changing the area in back of the stove to mellow it out.

The timeless color palate plus interesting texture and lines makes this fabulous, I say! Live with it, and you will grow to love it. You will probably find yourself adding the special touches (an interesting Tuscan pottery piece, a unique area rug, for instance) that will continue to integrate the decor and make it even more personalized.

Does your backsplash go beyond the wall in the photo? Can you also give us a look at the floor and other photos of the room?

Beautiful. Agree with above poster to change the hardware. Would try an oil rubbed bronze, also, hardware should be a little heavier looking.

It's too busy. And it clashes with your hardware style.

I think you are jumping the gun here. It is a big change from a plain wall but it looks great. Colors go well with cabinetry and granite. I would change out the hardware for something more substantial and in a oil rubbed bronze. relax and enjoy!

This is a great look! I think you made the correct decision with your backsplash. What color are your walls? One thought would be to paint them a dark mocha.
