How do I make the exterior of my very traditional home look modern?

I love my home but who knew 10 years after we built it I would change my style to mid century modern. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Hello shugeason,

We need pictures if you have one or two to share. Then suggestions would be rampant :)

Looking forward to it,
Elizabeth

As stated by Cabell Design, post a pic or two and boom; you will be inundated by ideas to change your landscape, color, and building elements, that would make your place to suit you.

Thanks, I'm not sure why they are not being seen by anyone. I am posting them.

Oddly, the pix still aren't showing up. I've never posted photos so I have no tech suggestions, does anyone else?

I've been told you must click on my profile pic to see my home.

Kathleen when you post the photos you can add them to your comment box by clicking on the attach images portion under the comment. Or you can add them to your Ideabook and post a link to each photo (that might be easier). The photos aren't showing up yet in this thread or in the ideabook.

So, what's wrong with a traditional house on the outside and a modern house on the inside? I too, love both traditional and contemporary/modern. You have a lovely home that is only 10 years old. Why change it?

Yes, I think it is a beautiful house. Shortly after we built it our neighbors across the street built one almost identical like it. After that someone across the field did the same thing. I guess I'd like something totally different and modern is something that you just don't see in my area.
