Need help for an under the stair case dilemma

I love Houzz. I need your advice on what to do with, or how to do this space under the stair case. I would like to keep the storage. Maybe incorporate a little bit of white beadboard, hide a much needed desk for bill paying, ,or make it a TV area, which it was set up for when the house was built. I have had cabinet makers at the house, and they are at a loss...
