I am building a new home and I'm struggling with the ceiling color. I do not want a bright white. I have cream colored cabinetry (close to Pacer White by Sherwin Williams) and I am matching my trim color to the cabinetry. The walls will be Relaxed Khaki by Sherwin Williams and the fireplace surround and center island is stained Espresso. We also have darker birch wood floors. Do I paint the ceiling the same color as the trim and kitchen cabinets?

I think ceilings the same as the trim would be the best. Similar to this
