A warning on the pedestal. Even old homes had vanities. Pedestals leave you no counter space - in a small 3 piece that will be a terrible disadvantage. You need a place for all that bathroom stuff and a good area to use for make-up. The days of dressing rooms with vanities are gone along with hampers in the bathroom and wash-up sinks in bedrooms.

Think of a typical daily juggling act at a sink. Brush, razor, shaving cream, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, laying down the hair dryer, perfume and make up. There are more and more of the new pedestal sinks filling up landfills because of this.

Don't get me wrong they look great! In a powder room yes. In your main bath, no, unless you have counter space with a mirror.

I think you can use both finishes together. Use what you love and it will always look great.Having said that, the brass finish pits and turns colorful over time. With white tile, I think the silver finish would look stunning. Good luck.
