New guest cabin with beadboard cabinets, a very dark busy granite counter. What should I put on walls?

Choose a wall color that you find in the granite. There are many beautiful colors in the stone. I'd use one of the neutral beige tones. Read this article on choosing wall paint: http://www.lindaholtinteriors.com/2011/07/testing-wall-color-101/

You should go with a slight dark grey.

I would go with a contrasting color tile or marble with accent tile for the back splash. A nice marble or travertine back-splash would be an excellent use of natural stone and really showcase that beautiful granite.

Some type of grey slate mosaic it has some rusty colors in it. You can get a mixture of glass, slate and copper. Bring in some natural elements.
