Help with 80's style windows

We just purchased a new home and my biggest dilemma is what to do with these 80's style half circle windows all over the house. I know getting rid of the fan shutters will help. The windows in these pictures will be in my toddler's bedroom so I would still like to make the room dark during the day for nap time. Any ideas on what I can do for window coverings?

Think twice before getting rid of the shutters. Arched windows are difficult to cover and the options are usually limited. Shutters are one of the best options for arched windows. If you do take them down, keep them. Good luck!
