Thanks salkar6. The siding is Eter-Color (from American Fiber Cement Corporation), a high-density, high quality, solid-color cement board. It does not require any surface finish (paint or sealer) and does not require any flashing between the panels. It is attached with color-match screws to rain screen strapping.

How do you ensure a consistent colour between the sheets. Is your rain screen running vertically and is it standard 1x3 wood? what is the spacing between cement boards. thanks for your help

mdhnry, the rain screen is run vertically to ensure drainage. The mfg. requires a true 1" thick strapping and the space between the cement panels is approx. 3/8". The mfg. supplies black backing strips that ensure a consistent background between the panels. The mfg. has detailed specs and installation guidelines.
