I love it as it is now, but you can sometimes change.

The grayish pillows would provide some color interest against the sofas.

I like the idea of using the grey pillows. A little color pop! :)

Hi! Although I do like the idea of gray in the room, I think that the sofa needs a pattern on it to provide interest. Here are a few that I found that have gray and are also a pattern:

Hope this helps!

-- This is a little off your question but have you ever tried placing the sofa opposite the tv cabinet and away from the windows? The arrangement seems a little awkward now.

Your tv cabinet is great! Is that a DIY project?

As far as pillows go, I agree with Warner Décor in that a pattern would add a lot to the room. Also, a hint of a very, very light color would be fun, sophisticated, and add another layer of soft color.

The shaggy pillows you are considering would be a smart move
too because they would bring in some texture.

Your afghan is bringing in some color and you can add to it easily. My guess is that you are missing a little color in your room and are trying to introduce some. The beauty of what you have done so far is that it is easy to change the look simply with pillows, throws, etd.

Another look would be pillows with a strong pattern - like the birds below.

You will probably end up with an arsenal of pillows and change them out from time to time.

I think you should buy a rug first and choose a color in it that will inform the pillow choices. Remember a rug pad between the rug and carpet.

Sandy g, the problem with moving the lounge is that it would block the kitchen opening, that's why I have it against the window.

Hi mike, I def want a rug and in thinking of a grey rug, I just need the cash flow to get onto that. I was thinking the grey cushions, grey mat, some books on te coffee table and some sort of ornament. I was then going to add a small light pink cushion and a light pink throw for extra colour. I'm all over the place haha
