Flooring choice
March 23, 2014 in Design Dilemma
We are changing up the flooring in our finished basement and would like something durable. Our exercise equipment is there (treadmill, weight set, stationary bike) so a workout style floor would work but they seem unattractive. Suggestions welcome.

Luxury vinyl plank over Dricore would be my suggestion, with mats in select areas. That will be warm and softer under foot, but be able to shrug off any moisture issues that would damage wood or carpet.

Vinyl tiles could be one option to consider.

I agree with ProSource, that is what we have all through our basement even in the gym area. It is attractive and easy to keep clean.
