Just purchased new furniture for living room. Buttercup yellow sofa and love seat; gray side chair and gray/yellow/white stripe side chair. We have vaulted ceiling with beams. Will be painting the ceiling (not beams) and woodwork white. Should we do pale gray or dark gray for walls? It's a large room with corner fireplace. What about a separate wall with coordinating color? A pale yellow or another shade of gray? Also what color for an area rug? Any suggestions will be well received.
