I would suggest 2 different options: A plantation shutter with powertilt or honeycomb shades with powerrise. Plantation shutters would go really well with the wood in your home and I think would really finish off the space. If you wanted to have the ability to raise the blinds up and see out of the windows, honeycomb shades would be your better option. Since they are high up I would definitely suggest motorization. If there is no power at the window you can do a battery solution such as QMotion in a solar mesh fabric which is engineered to help with energy loss and will also help alleviate the fading issues while still preserving your view.
