Based on the tiles, I'm thinking about 26", but that is if the tiles are 2". It could be a little more.

The space for a toilet by code is 30` 36 is much better if it`s possible. If the TP holder has to be mounted on the side of the cabinet then wider is better so that you don`t put your body out of wack trying to get at the TP.
