height of wall mounted faucet with vessel sink?

hi there, we are building a new house and in our powder room we will have suspended cabinetry with a vessel sink. most of our cabinetry will be a little higher than standard height at 36" because we feel it will be more comfortable on our backs. however, in our powder room we have a 5.5" tall vessel sink. we were thinking about having the cabinet counter height sit at 33.5" as the rough-in for the wall mounted faucet is centered at 44.5". This leaves around 11" between the countertop and the center of the rough-in. Our cabinet makers mentioned they thought the faucet and cabinet was too high. see attached drawing. what do you think, houzzers?
