I guess its a late respond, but I was searching for same solution as all vanity in the house I'm remodeling for my client are 36" high, with vessel sink and wall mount faucet I lowered my vanity to 30" and faucet rough in at 41" centered off the floor. I wonder how did it worked out for you with set up you were doing at 44" centered?

same issue, even same faucet. I read faucet needs to be 4-6" distance above the drain. How did you position and how did it turn out? Thanks

also wondering! using Kohler purist with a 4" vessel sink and a wall hung vanity. need to figure out spacing!

I’ve read that 4” - 6” above the drain is what’s called for, but that’s just plain stupid !!! What if your sink 5 3/4” deep - as is the one I’m installing for my client, then the faucet is IN THE SINK ! I say the bottom of the spout should be at least 1” above the rim of the sink
