Need help with two different backsplashes

I am redoing the counters in both my utility room and 3/4 bath. The counter tops are quartz. Not far away is the kitchen which has granite counter tops and a subdued tan backsplash. My question is, can I put a different backsplash in both the utility room (I'm thinking rocks) and 3/4 bath (I'm thinking horizontal glass)? They are across the hall from each other. Thank you.

I don't see why not. Go with what you like, and so long as the backsplash works with the countertop, it should look fine.
