storing jewelry in a safe in the master bedroom closet

I need to design a drawer/cabinet storage for jewelry in the master bedroom closet. I am thinking of using a small jewelry safe that needs to be incorporated in the overall design of the custom closet so that the safe will be easy to access but at the same time concealed. I am thinking of using a small safe like in the picture attached. Any suggestions?

If the dimensions of your storage needs can only be accomplished by a square safe as pictured, you can easily incorporate the safe into a "hidden" area of the closet behind a closed door or false tall drawer front. The safe could then be anchored to the closet material to make it even more difficult to disappear if discovered during a break in. If the safe size you shared is not absolutely necessary, wall safes are a great alternative as they can be concealed behind hanging garments, and potential thieves would most likely never look behind clothing for valuables. We install quite a few and our clients really find value in them. The attached wall safe offers 6" depth in a 2 x 4 wall, which is nice additional depth compared to traditional wall safes being closer to 3 1/2" deep.

Thank you if your suggestions. Could you share the dimensions of the wall safe in the picture? Manufacturer?

Mark B, great minds think alike! In a similar situation, I designed a modern bookcase to slides inward to reveal a vault for home security, safe room and safe. The same approach could be used within the dressing room itself.

Won't give more details for obvious reasons! And thanks for the thought, Brandi!

The wall safe in the picture is 15.25" H x 14.38" W x 6" D and is available through Digital Safe (www.digitalsafeonline.com). They are a little more expensive than other wall safes I have found, but they offer quality products, and I like the extra depth they offer with a 2 x 4 wall. Good luck!

Check out a small safe similar to the one you pictured, with just as much burglar and fire protection, but at a lower cost here: www.CasoroJewelrySafes.com
