How do you get behind the mirror to change out the lights?

Hi ccernosek, the "floating" mirror simply lifts up and off the upward-facing horizontal metal angle attached to the wall. The mirror itself has a downward-facing horizontal metal angle attached to its back, which holds the mirror in place when the two angles interlock.

Lighting: Two high-output fluorescent T-5 tubes are installed vertically, with one horizontal at the top. An LED strip used for night lighting is placed horizontally near the bottom of the mirror. In this way, the mirror lighting shines from behind the mirror resulting in indirect, soft lighting. Thanks for asking, Scott.

Thank you Scott, I would like to use this idea. Is this something that I could simply order or is it custom?

You're welcome ccernosek, thanks for asking. It is a custom piece I designed for this client. Let me know if you have further questions.
