I like the bed color with a creamier white, I love the pics the pro sent, but depending on the person's hobbies, it is nice to include some decorations with a nod toward their interests, an amatuer astronomer might display a small telescope, a book lover might include books, an avid winter sport person might hang a sled or a their ice skates.

I was thinking a Suzani design might work well, but I would reverse the background and go with a cream background and a dark Suzani. Or, since the designs on the comforter are so geometrical, soften it with more of a free-form design in the rug?

Then I would cut down the contrast of the white walls with a darker beige for the walls.

thank you! for now walls will stay white but down the line I plan to paint a shade of beige as it will match the floor and I'm not a huge fan of blue. the area above my bed is not that big. I'm sorry I don't have a better picture. while the wall decor ideas for that area were fantastic..any other ideas what I can put up there? I like meditation and serene themes. for the bigger wall I was thinking two pieces with cream, browns and orange?? any other colors you would suggest? also the rug will be at the foot of my bed. it is a full..any ideas on the size. a 4×6 may be too big. I loved the modern rug from Ethan Allan but would like to find something more affordable! please keep suggestions coming. I don't have a creative bone in my body! thanks again!
