Anyone have a homework counter/bar?

My kids have outgrown their little craft table and I'd love to put a homework and craft table with storage along the wall of my family room. I see beautiful photos here on Houzz but usually no details on how to accomplish it unless it's a custom build. Has anyone done this? Care to share photos and details? Thanks in advance!

When my daughter was that age, she did her homework at the dining room table right outside the kitchen. That way, when I was preparing dinner, I could walk in and out answering questions. Our family room was too small to accommodate a desk for homework or anything else. Good luck.
