How to dress a mock window
April 21, 2014 in Design Dilemma
There's this side "window" in our room that actually overlooks the staircase of the house, and in our son's room there's an exact copy of it also overlooking the staircase. We can see each other in our rooms. It's a kind of slightly mirrored window so in daylight it's not such a big deal, but ofcourse privacy has to be achieved, so we don't know how to dress this window.. shall we do it exactly like the curtains of the main window, which is really made up of three panels of detached windows only about 2 inches apart, forming a total of 3 meters. We're dressing this main window with a nice paisley mock curtain sides covering the sides of the windows (all wall space to the left and right of window) and sheer with blackout for the whole width. All windows are not whole length, but about 60cm from the floor. Sorry don't have pics this sec.
